Why hello! It’s great to see you. I’ve been hanging around this wonderful world for a little while, about 22 years, and I’m excited to see people just like you… those wanting to explore and investigate more than the 6 feet bubble around you. Here, sit down and I’ll explain it to you. Please, make yourself comfortable!
I’m what you would call a pseudo-intellectual adrenaline junkie, and the seven continents are my playgrounds. So, you see, I’m always up to something… either here in the myriad of tubes called the internet, or in the physical sense.
You are too? Oh that’s great! I say, we probably have a lot in common. It’s quite amazing how humans can have crossing interests despite cultural and linguistic boundaries, don’t you agree?
Anyway, I’ll be doing things like that here: pushing boundaries, widening this computer screen to better accompany the lives that we try so hard to connect and resolve, and just enjoying this beautiful small pale blue dot called Earth.
I can tell we’ll get along famously! You’ve read this far, haven’t you? Well, I appreciate your interest. Please, if you have any questions, comments, or random thoughts, go ahead and ask. Don’t be shy!
To elaborate about this blog, I’m just a Southern girl without a Southern drawl hoping that she can reach others through the medium of writing while fulfilling her dreams of transcontinental traveling. I’ve had a great amount of experience among different countries. Having a parent in the military, although it has been hard dealing with his long absences at times, opened up a lot of amazing opportunities to meander through cities and landscapes brimming with strange life.
The title of this blog comes from my great aunt’s exclamation whenever someone suggested to do something—go out to eat, ride across town, or whatever they fancied. It was as automatic as, “alright” or “okay.”
So, let me go get my dress, and then we can skedaddle along to whatever awaits! Let’s jet-set off in easy spirit and style to encounter everything with confidence and the exceptional grace of a journey-bound transcendence based on holistic curiosity.
